The Devon Arms Library is unique in Tenerife. In addition to the morning newspapers which the bar provides for their regulars there is also a well stocked library.
Some of the books are written by a well known local author and publisher, John Riddle, who is the sports editor of The Paper published in Tenerife ( www.thepaper.net )
John has written several books on sport including "Jailed" - sports stars doing extra time....in prison with a foreword by the former safe cracking chairman of a football club - George Reynolds.
John has also penned - "The Life of Brian" with a foreword by Peter Beardsley of Liverpool, Everton, Newcastle United and of course England.
"The King of Cappielow" a biography of Celtic and Morton star, Andy Ritchie, followed next and the foreword is written by Sir Alex Ferguson of Old Trafford.
